Chocolate Chip and Walnut Brownies

Ingredients
- 1 cup gluten free flour (I use Bob’s Red Mill one to one gluten free baking flour)
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup walnut pieces
- 1 cup vegan chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp ground flax 6 tbsp water(for egg)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup avocado oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
- Add the flour, cocoa, soda, and salt to a mixing bowl and stir together to mix
- Add the chocolate chips and walnuts and stir until all combined
- Add the flax egg, oil, maple syrup, and vanilla and stir well until all combined
- Add to an oiled glass baking dish such as a 9×9 (I used an 8×6) or 8 inch square
- Bake for 25 minutes
For being vegan and gluten free, these brownies are moist, chewy, and delicious!
